To attract tourist the countries invest a lot in infrastructure and facilities, in one way its great, but the dark side of this development is that its on the cost of environment.Tourism depends on the physical attractiveness of the environment but many tourism businesses do not take care of the environment when developing their business plans.They continue to attract more and more tourists without due consideration of the harmful environmental effects exerted by increasing number of visitors, thus destroying the very environment on which their businesses are based.
The development should be carried out in such a way that resources are used to meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future.Strategies should be long term and provide benefits to both visitors and host communities, but with in the constraints of the earth's environmental resources.
